Happy Friday you lovelllly people! I hope you’ve all had a great week and you’re looking forward to the Bank Holiday, even if you’re just taking an extra day to rest! After my first Rate/Hate it post, I had so many messages saying how helpful it was for people! So, over the past couple of weeks I have been trying out some new products and here to report back whether I loved them or not!
The first product I have been trying and absolutely loving(!!) is the Dr Botanicals – Superfood Sleeping Mask. This mask has been a lifesaver: so much so that after finishing this blog post I’m gonna jump online and buy a full sized pot as I loved it that much!! This product leaves my skin SO hydrated and absolutely smells divine! It feels so hydrating on the skin and sinks in without leaving any stickiness. The main ingredient pomegranate is actually high in antioxidants so it really does nourish the skin! You can the this mask here at £19.00 for 50ml – this product will last you for ages! It will definitely be a staple in my evening routine!
The next product I tested out was the Essence – You Better Work Primer. Unfortunately, I didn’t rate this product! I found it to be pretty oily and it sat on my skin without sinking in – it made applying my foundation much harder as it just seemed to move around my face. I have combination skin, so I try to keep oil products to a minimum, but I really did think I would like this product. Maybe as the hotter weather arrives, my skin may need more oil, but I won’t purchase this item. You can buy it here for only £3.50! If you have any positive experiences with this product then I’d love to know!
I then tested out another skincare product! I tried the Minus 417 – Foaming Gel. I love how gentle the exfoliant feels on my skin, it isn’t too harsh but also provides a nice fresh feeling of knowing you’ve washed your face, properly. I do have sensitive skin, so the first use left my face feeling a little red, but most products do so I wasn’t worried. This product is fully vegan and is full of vitamins which your face will gladly love you for. Although I loved this product, I have other products which I much prefer and continue to repurchase but this product is an affordable cleanser if you’re looking to try new products! You can buy the cleansing gel here for £16.95 for 200ml.
The final product I have been using is Filorga – Time Filler Eyes. OH MY GOD. Literally – I just want to smother my face in this. I don’t want to sound like I’m exaggerating when I talk about this product but I honestly don’t know how to describe it without gushing. Even after the first application I seen a MASSIVE difference, it really does make your eyes feel like they’ve had *300* hours of sleep. Although it seems to be targeted at anti-ageing but in my opinion, you can never start too soon! I have done some research and never actually realised how expensive eye creams are, BUT, I think I would actually splurge on this product as I feel it would last for a long time. You can buy the Eye Cream here from M&S at £47.00 for a 15ml pot – it may seem quite steep but a little goes a long way!
See you on Monday for Mental Health Monday’s!
