April Favourites |

Uncategorized

I would say happy May but considering we’re already half way through the month.. I think it’s a bit late for that. It seems that this first half of the month has also flown by, which so did April! I have been so busy with uni and have had so many deadlines that I haven’t really had much time, socially. This months favourites are primarily skin/body care related as I’ve spent a lot of time in the house.

My first favourite this month is The Body Shop – Drops of Youth Sleep Mask. This is honestly one of the best evening moisturisers I have used. It’s a very thick consistency and leaves the skin feeling tight the next morning. As it is a sleep mask, it takes a while to soak in, so just use minimal as a little goes a long way, but it may appear sticky to begin with but by the morning, your skin will feel amazing.

Lush – The Comforter – Baths will always be my favourite – even if the weather is a little warmer. I find that a bath relaxes me so much more than a shower – this smells devine and creates loads of bubbles! It also acts as a moisturiser on the skin as it contains oils.

Carex – Drumstick Bath Wash – I always seem to find some good stuff in Home Bargains! and this product did not disappoint. I love sweet smells and this literally smells like the actual sweets. It can be used on sensitive skin as it has been derma-logically tested!

My Skin – Face Masks – I’ve been loving looking after my skin and these affordable face masks have been working miracles! They are so moisturising and the product really sinks into the skin, the rest of the product can be evenly spread over the face and neck! I also love the animal concept, its better than a plain mask.

and finally, my last favourite this month was The Burning Chambers by Kate Mosse. Although this was the only book I managed to read throughout April, I really did enjoy it!
