I cannot believe we are yet through another month of 2019! It is literally flyinggggg by – March has been such a good month, I celebrated my 23rd birthday and have had so many amazing opportunities offered to me -watch this space-! This month, I have had more time to try new products and have now become my favourites!
Makeup Revolution – liquid highlighter – I absolutely love the makeup revolution conceal and define foundation and knew I wanted to try more from the range! My first thought was that they are very similar to the Cover FX Enhancer Drops but for a fraction of the price (£6.00). I love how practical the packaging is, it comes in a glass bottle and looks really expensive. Also, the liquid is extremely concentrated and the colour pay off is amazing. A little bit goes a long way – and gives you the best glow!
Mac Lip Liner in Spice – as always with MAC products, the packaging is always very sleek. This is one of my favourite lip lines – it is very pigmented – the colour is a true cinnamon colour (very brown) but has orange undertones, oh and its totally matte! The only downside is that as it is matte, it is a little drying. If you have dry patches then it may accentuate them – always make sure you use a lip scrub before applying product!
Pixi Rose Tonic – I have such sensitive skin that when I use tonics its sometimes hit or miss, but, this product works absolute wonders on my skin! I use it every evening after my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and it really does help brighten and resurface the skin, while ingredients like camomile and aloe vera act as a comfort blanket for the skin. It has really helped to get rid of any spots and has reduced redness so much!
The Body Shop Cactus Blossom Yoghurt – The yoghurts are one of my ultimate favourites anyway and have used so many! It gives the skin so much hydration and absorbs into the skin really quickly – it can be used on either wet or dry skin and dries just as quick either way. The yoghurt contains shea butter and conditioning almond milk which helps make the skin super soft!
Since I am unable to drink coffee or have caffeine, I’m always on the look out for decaf alternatives. I found this brand who kindly gifted me a few different options to try and I can honestly say, its one of the best coffee’s I have tried. Decedent Decaf Coffee – I have been enjoying the Indonesia Sumatra Mandehling. It has strength of 5, but because it doesn’t have caffeine in, it isn’t overpowering! There are *soooo* many different flavours – I have popped the link here incase you are looking to try some (https://www.decadentdecaf.com)
My final favourite this month was a book, Obsession by Amanda Robson. It is a psychological thriller, and I think this is going to be my favourite book of the whole year – I honestly could not put it down, there was so many plot twists that were unexpected and I didn’t guess any of them! I found the writing style so captivating! I can’t wait to read other books written by Amanda, if you have any recommendations for thrillers then pls, let me know!
That is all my favourites for the month of March – I have decided to start a new series, ‘The Entertainment Files’ of all of the recent films, documentaries and podcasts I have been watching/listening to, so keep an eye out for that post later next week!
