Again, November has been a whirlwind of a month and has flashed by SO quick. I can’t believe there’s only 1 more month left of 2018(!!). As I’ve managed my time much more efficiently this month, I’ve had more time to enjoy new products as well as falling back in love with some of my trusty favourites.
I have been absolutely loving Holly Willoughby’s Insta’ since she’s been in the jungle! Obviously most of her clothes are high end, but there are definitely some more affordable alternatives – my favourite look so far is when she wore the Rixo London Tiger Print Dress.
I have also been lusting over all of the amazing cakes on Lauren’s gram’. Her feed is so festive that it definitely gets me in the mood for Christmas!
November = I’m a Celeb! I have been absolutely loving this year’s I’m a Celeb line up, (Harry is ma fav), some of the trials have been a bit meh – i mean POPPING AND EATING FISH EYES? That was a definite stomach turner for me!
I also totally binged watched the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina all in ONE day. “This adaptation of the Sabrina the Teenage Witch tale is a dark coming of age story that traffics in horror and the occult. Sabrina Spellman wrestles to reconcile her dual nature – half witch, half mortal”. There was a couple of jumpy moments, but overall the series was BRILLIANT. I hope a Season 2 is on the cards!
I’ve only listened to one Podcast this month as I have been utterly obsessed with it! Under the Skin with Russel Brand – I started from the beginning so I have over 55 to get through, but this month I’ve managed to listen to 7 and they deal with some really gritty topics, such as feminism, humanity and terror.
My favourite book I read this month was Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelward – The Original Screenplay. I’ve been SO SO excited for this to be released, and it did not disappoint! This one was full of new magical creatures, the baby Niffler was my favourite!
My other favourite this month was ‘To All The Boy’s I’ve Loved Before’ which was a cute fluffy contemporary about the Song sisters, the ending made me cry! Now I’ve read the book, I’m even more excited to watch the film adaptation.
I recently picked up the raved about Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Foundation as my local superdrug now stocks it – I was reluctant to order offline as I had absolutely no idea what shade I would be. I matched to N5 and as far as budget makeup goes, this has become one of my high-street favourites! I love the way it sits, its not heavy but gives absolute full coverage and its a dreamy!
I’ve been using Sleepy by Lush which I have seen so many people rave about for helping with insomnia. As I have only been using it a handful of times, I can’t say I’ve seen a difference in my sleeping, but I am completely obsessed with the smell and how it feels on the skin – such a good product and I will for sure be repurchasing!
This month I have fallen back in love with Carmex, I literally cannot live without it! Since the cold weather has been creeping in, my lips have been sore, dry and cracked and i can confirm i have multiple carmex’s on the go as it is literally my life saver!
I hope November has been a good month for you and that you’re now ready for all the festivities to begin in December!
